成都 寬窄巷子 Chengdu, Kuan-zhai Ancient Street

寬窄巷子是清代的古街。
雖然已經經過整修而且變得十分商業化，
不過卻比我預期中的漂亮很多。

尤其是夜晚的燈光，
古老建築和夜生活的奇妙混合，
讓寬窄巷子成為很適合在傍晚或夜間消磨時光的去處。

適當的設計感

有許多華麗的古老大宅、可愛的小店，
也有一些精品旅館、餐廳和茶館。

一些新與舊的混搭，

還好是整體而言是用一種可以讓人喜歡的、

不會過於俗麗的方式。

和一些恰到好處的斑駁

有些神秘的大宅門上
寫著”私宅，請勿打擾”，
讓人更加好奇與增添更多的想像，
這些宅院背後，
有著甚麼樣的背景和故事呢。

深鎖的大門外有人在演奏樂器

左到右分別是 手影、雜耍、變臉
晚上走在這兩條步行街上，
感覺很放鬆。
茶館的表演也十分有趣。
（雖然二手菸讓我很不習慣，
還有這間茶館裡的電子跑馬燈讓我十分無言，
但有限的時間內剛好遇上開始時間剛剛好的表演，
也已經很高興了。）

This area is somewhat commercialized and modernized.
Yet it is prettier than what I had expected.
A charming mix of old architectures and the modern night life
makes it a good place to visit in late afternoons.
There are many beautiful old buildings, a lot of quaint shops, some boutique hotels, bars,
restaurants, and tea houses where you can sit down, relax and watch shows.

There are a wide street and a narrow street in this area.
(“Kuan” means wide and “zhai” means narrow.)
It is very easy to stroll and enjoy sightseeing in the two walking streets.
The shows in the tea houses are quite interesting, too.
